Students earn points by participating in various activities, from in-app trivia to being in the right place at the right time.
The Perks App has multiple types of events - physical check-in events, where the user must check-in via their phone in a geofenced area or using a posted QR code, and virtual check-ins, where the user is directed to a website URL.
To submit an event to Perks, we require the following information in the requested formats, if applicable.
The main heading of your event, up to 128 characters.
A short paragraph describing your event, key details, and any important information attendees should know. You can include photos, hyperlinks, and basic formatting.
The location description or name for your event. A link to Google Maps is helpful!
The starting date and time when attendees can check-in to your event, and the date and time when it ends.
Send us an image to use for your event, ideally in JPEG/JPG format, under 200KB. The ideal dimensions are 600px wide at 72px/inch resolution.
There are multiple types of Surveys in the Perks App - classic surveys with multiple questions and various answer formats, and pop-up surveys that have one question, displayed directly on the user's dashboard.
To submit a survey to Perks, we require the following information in the requested formats, if applicable.
The main heading of your survey, up to 128 characters.
A short paragraph describing your survey, key details, and any important information attendees should know. You can include photos, hyperlinks, and basic formatting.
There are two types to choose from:
Classic surveys which include multiple choice, scale, text, or HTML question types.
Pop-up surveys which are limited to 1 question, with up to 4 answer choices (50 chars max).
The starting date and time when respondents can access the survey, and the date and time when it ends.
Quizzes in Perks allow Admins to create multiple-choice questions for Users to earn points. They’re perfect for trivia, post-event follow-ups, or checking knowledge after a Survey.
To submit a quiz to Perks, we require the following information in the requested formats, if applicable.
The main heading of your quiz, up to 128 characters.
A short paragraph describing your quiz, key details, and any important information attendees should know. You can include photos, hyperlinks, and basic formatting.
Send us questions in multiple choice format, with as many answer choices as needed.
The starting date and time when respondents can take the quiz, and the date and time when it ends.
In addition to earning & redeeming points in-app, Perks also includes an offers section, which gives students access to a virtual coupon book of discounts & free offers from local & national businesses. Offers & discounts can be customized for each school and for different locales.
To submit an offer to Perks, we require the following information in the requested formats, if applicable.
The main heading of your offer, up to 128 characters.
A short paragraph outlining the offer's details, including any terms and conditions. You can include photos, hyperlinks, and basic formatting.
Specify if users must visit a physical location, apply a promo code online, or present a barcode at checkout.
The starting date and time when the offer goes live, and the date and time when it ends.

Perks is an extremely powerful app, where you are able to choose specific groups of users to show certain store items or raffles to. For example, you can set it where if a user has completed a specific survey, a store item or raffle of choice will become visible to them.
You can target students in specific years, specific faculties, users who have responded to particular quizzes or surveys in the app, or users who have taken part in a specific event.
